Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and Southwestern Law school joined forces to build technology tools for the expungement process in California.

As many traditional law student volunteer opportunities have diminished in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, new opportunities have also arisen. Law students are simultaneously more willing to engage in varied volunteer experiences and more adept at learning new technology than ever before. Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) joined forces with Southwestern Law student volunteers to build its dream expungement platform, to help scale their services across the LA community.
